CGB is a professional, not-for-profit theatre company that
develops and produces new works for the stage. In developing
these works the company uses experimental rehearsal processes
and innovative creation techniques. CGB is committed to the
idea of art as a force for social change and the pursuit of
excellence, beauty, and laughter. This work ethic is successfully
embodied in such productions as MOCSHPLAT and UMLOUT. If you
get a chance to see a Clowns Gone Bad show Go it's a real
treat.
www.turtleshell.com
-- THE TURTLESHELL STORY is Joen Asmussen's beautiful gift
to websurfers worldwide. Turtleshell was created as an experiment
in digital storytelling on the Internet. The symbolism is
inspired by ancient Hindu mythology, in which the world is
being carried by a giant turtle. Joen is a Danish design student
who spent a year creating the project. Whenever I have a creative
block I will often visit the site. Simple and unassuming I
find that its aural and visual elements have a meditative
effect that permit me to dream.
Truly worth the visit.

BRUCE MAU Is a Canadian cross discipline designer. His
book "Lifestyles" documents his creative process
and his studio practice. Full of playful and critical statements
about visual and cultural trends that influence today's media-driven
context. The book is a hefty volume better read in short snippets
rather then in one sitting.
His "Incomplete Manifesto for Growth" is worth the
visit. With its simple yet deeply inspiring quotes the manifesto
brings me back to the basics of creating and reminds me that
it is essential that I allow myself to rediscover my own unique
voice and nurture it.
I recommend visiting Mau's manifesto. Its 40 short quotes
will without a doubt offer insight to creators of all disciplines.
www.rivertrout.com
is a library of letters dedicated to bringing art to the web
by giving an old craft a new meaning: the writing of literary,
beautifully-worded letters enhanced by powerful images, great
design and the ubiquity and interaction of the Internet. Rivertrout
believes that letters are a perfect metaphor for the universe,
a world where anything can happen, anything can be told, felt,
and expressed in an artistic fashion.
Rivertrout is a collaborative effort and they strongly encourage
readers to submit original content for publication on the
site. But they do have a few rules. So if you fancy yourself
a good writer of letters submit your work or simply enjoy
reading the letters of others

Vera Little is one special woman. Both her sites veralittle.com
and homunculus at trajectorymedia.com are the creation of
this very talented, resourceful, and courageous young woman.
THE VERA LITTLE MEDIA PROJECT is a quest for glamour through
a journey of self-exploitation. The project is fueled by her
determination to remain a divine goddess, a movie starlet,
a space queen, and a cyber princess, despite the impracticalities
and unflattering lighting of real life. In 1993 Vera had to
have all her fingers and both her feet amputated.
HOMUNCULUS is about the process of making art. The site is
her digital design, sculpture, and animation portfolio. Its
home for her work journal and webcam.
Vera has been a powerful source of inspiration both creatively
and personally.

specializes in the sick and warped and is home of the Frog
in a Blender, Gerbil in the Microwave, Joefish, Nanna Hooter
and more humor for the twisted.
WARNING: This site is most certainly lacking in maturity and
has absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. If you are
easily offended, please enter for your offhandedness will
no doubt bring him great pleasure. I personally do not endorse
the values or rather lack of values represented on this site.
However I would be lying if I did not admit to also having
at times a very warped sense of humor and some of Joe's Cartoons
do make me laugh. And a good laugh is very healthy. So suspend
disbelief and enjoy the stupidity.

Well frankly it is a little difficult to describe this site except
to say that it seems to be a puzzling, ghostly, interactive journey
into the creator's rather odd world. This is a quote from his bio.
"After inventing the plastic cork in 1973 (known in the cork
community as the 'Pork' Kurt once again entered the high tech community
full of vigor and ideas. Many ideas still percolate in Kurt's vital
99-year-old brain and await an audience savvy enough to comprehend
their significance. Kurt resides in North Africa with his dog and
enjoys stimulating telepathic dinner conversation with the corpse
of ex-patriot Paul Bowles."
Well you be the judge,
