THE
STORY
Conner MacLeod, an immortal Highlander currently living in 1994
New York City, must come face to face with his age-old and evil
enemy, Highlander Kane, when Kane becomes freed from an archeological
dig in Japan. In the 16th century, a similar battle took place,
only for MacLeod to emerge victor and Kane to remain entrapped
for five centuries within collapsed temple walls. Now, Kane is
out for MacLeod's blood, and uses every superpower to destroy
any future for MacLeod. Alex an expert in ancient Japan discovers
a fragment from the dig in Japan that leads her to Macleod in
New York where the present reveals a passionate past. All the
while Lieut. John Stenn, a tenacious NYC Detective vows to take
down Macleod as his prime suspect in past and present decapitation
murders. The race is on when Kane's shape shifting powers permits
him to kidnap Macleod's son to force a final showdown.

THE
CHARACTER
Lieut. John Stenn, New York City Detective is in charge of the
decapitation cases. This chain smoking, coffee swilling, mint-popping
workaholic has vowed to bring Macleod in. The how and why he does
not know but "the who" he is certain about. He's one
of those old school detectives that lives for his work, has strong
principle and work ethics. Is critical of the relaxed attitude
of cops today. He cares. He goes as far as to warn Akex that Macleod
is dangerous or at least someone to stay away from. He takes Macleod
in for interrogation. Eventually he comes to understand Macleod's
need to save his son and though he does not quite grasp or believe
the reality of Macleod's existence lets him go find his son. He
like Macleod respects the man. And that stands for a lot because
thought he is certain that Macleod is responsible for the deaths
he is just as certain that there is much more going on then meets
the eye.

COMMENTS
"I had seen Highlander I and II and was very aware that Highlander
had a big following but I wasn't intimidated by that at all in
fact I was quite thrilled to be part of this franchise. From the
first read I had a good grasp on Stenn's personality but understanding
the nature of his work which was his life put me at a loss and
I need solid advice. Luckily my sister who was a police officer
at the time set me up with a Homicide Investigator that she knew.
He helped me understand a great deal about the job. ... "
